Overview
Elephant Bedroom Camp is one of the most loved addresses inside Samburu National Park. Twelve spacious tents sit directly on the Ewaso Ng'iro riverbank beneath doum palms and acacias, each with its own small plunge pool and a deck built for watching the water.
The camp is unfenced and elephants regularly move between the tents on their way to drink, which gives the property its name. Despite the wildness, service is polished and unhurried, and the atmosphere is far closer to a classic safari camp than a hotel.
Its location in the heart of the park means you are on game drives within minutes of leaving camp, in the prime riverine corridor where leopard, lion and the Samburu Special Five are most often seen.
